So I havent posted for a while so I thought I would give a quick update.
Last month we shaved all over Riley's hair off. I loved it. The whole experiance was a little scary for Riley but he survived unscathed. It's starting to grow back now and he looks so "mature" for a toddler. His favorite past time right now is to bounce with dad on the exercise ball. He loves trampolines and bouncing on our bed. We just got a new bed frame which puts the bed 3 feet off the floor so Riley uses our foot stool to get up on the bed. However this last week he though 4 am was a wonderful time to wake up and when we brought him into bed with us, which we dont do very often, he climbed out of bed and turned the light on while standing on the stool. Not so much fun, but its so cute to walk in and see him hanging over the side of the bed, clutching the sheets and blankets just dangling his feet. He doesnt want down but he doesnt want up either. He's literally "Just hanging out" lol.
Riley's Eye teeth are finally coming in and they are kind of a bugger. They are causing him the most trouble out of any of his teeth hes gotten so far.
We've had a busy last month. We've been to the Zoo twice, Calaway park twice. We got to see Grodon from Sesame street and Curious George perfrom at calaway. Amy and her kids have come over and played in the pool a few times and we're looking forward to more time with them. The splash park is open now and we cant wait to go over there and play.
Christina and Kael came up for a few days and hung out. Kael is 27 months and riley is 20 months and they had an absolute blast with each other. Whether it was chasing each other back and forth up and down the hallway or playing outside with the toys they loved every minute of it and I had a blast hanging out with Christina.
We went to our first city league football game for my brother Charles. His team made it to the Finals but unfortunately lost by one touchdown in overtime. It was such a good game but so sad when they all walked off the field. I cant wait for Charles to play High school football next year!! Riley Loved the game even though it was freezing. we had popcorn and blankets and sat with Grandma Marilyn and Auntie Jessica.
Now we're done school for the year. I'll be working part time in the Day care for the trainees which will be fun. We'll be doing different activities every day. Riley will have a blast.
Richard is looking for a new job so we're praying that he's successful fairly soon.
So I guess thats about it for now.
