So I did something today that I don't do very often anymore. I wrote a letter. My Grandparents live in the middle of nowhere. My Grandma is 84 and my grandpa is 92. They don't own a computer, they are both basically deaf, so talking on the fun isn't very much fun.
I have to say I love writing letters. Sure computers make it convenient to talk back and forth but there is something to be said for hand - writing a personal heart felt letter and putting some actual pictures in it. To me it makes it easier to connect and to convey actual feelings. Whether it's in the way the hand - writing is or just getting something in the mail other then bills, which is what I always seem to get, I love letters, thank you cards, birth announcements and wedding invitations.
Say what you want about the technology age, some things just arent the same without a letter sent through snail mail!
