Well I shipped richard off again Early sunday morning!
Not so hard this time. Probably because he's still in the same province at least.
I really do have a wonderful husband! He doesnt complain much, even when I nag him, He works hard, provides for us. Always has a pretty good attitude. What more could I ask for???
Riley has gotten into a stage where he likes to push other kids and I dont know what to do about it. Hes usually such a good boy, especially with other kids. I'm doing time outs, the occasional spanking after 3 time speaking to him and we've even left mothers group beacuse of it which totally sucks for me because thats also some me time! I really hope its just a stage and that it doesn't get worse before it get's better!
It was so cute though yesterday. We were watching Hell's kitchen and Riley brought out a couple of blankets and sat on the couch. He does this often and it usually isnt long before he's up and running again. However after about 15 minutes I looked over and found him fast asleep sitting on the couch with his blankets over him. He's so sweet most of the time!
We're getting closer to 3 now and its definitely getting more advernturous.
We have a busy week ahead of us. Funeral in Cardston tomorrow, Up to Edmonton to visit Richard on friday. Lots of Kms on the car.
I wish I could help you out with Riley's pushing problem and give you some sage advice but I have struggled with Kael since he could walk really. Mostly he has issues with certain people. I have never found spanking to work with Kael, it only makes him more violent and then he misbehaves for hours afterward... it's crazy!A great book I recommend is "The Discipline BOOK" by Dr. Sears.(the father not the son from The Doctors" on TV) He is amazing!!
